On 6 Aug, 2016, Quarry Overland Belt Conveyor for OBU Second Line was awarded CBMI by BUA Group. Mr. Tong Laigou, Chairman of CBMI, Mr. Rabiu, CEO of BUA Group, on behalf of respective company, attended the meeting and signed the memorandum, formal contract will be signed in the way of contract variation. Mr. Finn Arnoldsen, General Manger of OBU cement, Mr. Yusuf Binji, Technique Director, Mr. Andrew Parker, Contract Manager, Mr. Liming, CBMI Regional Manager, Mr. Tian han, Senior account manager attended this meeting.

This overland belt conveyor, with length 7km, and transporting capacity 2300t/h, which will function as the raw material source in IKBO quarry for OBU second line and partial capacity for first line after completion. This belt conveyor is single belt, with latest design concept and technique standard, which owns the advantage of simple structure, long distance, high reliability and low power consumption, easy maintenance etc, which is also quantum leap for CBMI in the field of EPC contract on long-distance belt conveyor, which will accumulate CBMI themselves treasure experiences in this field.
